Courtney Jolicoeur

Courtney Jolicoeur has over 12 years of accounting leadership experience, with a focus on financial reporting, financial analysis, complex technical accounting and regulatory compliance activities in the real estate industry. Courtney currently serves as the Chief Accounting Officer for Unico Properties, a private real estate firm actively managing a more than $4.3 billion portfolio of office, multifamily and mixed-use properties. In this role, Courtney oversees all aspects of the Company’s full cycle accounting processes, financial reporting and department operations for Unico’s growing portfolio of assets. Courtney serves as a key resource to internal and external stakeholders by communicating financial reports and analysis, managing annual audits, and enhancing Unico’s processes, policies and procedures to successfully employ a robust internal control structure encompassing reinforced accounting oversight.

Prior to Unico, Courtney spent over five years at VEREIT, Inc. (NASDAQ: VER) and its private capital management business, Cole Capital, most recently serving as the Vice President of Accounting and Corporate Controller. In this role, Courtney oversaw all aspects of the accounting cycle for a publically traded REIT with assets in excess of $22 billion, including department management and oversight, internal financial modelling and analysis, treasury management, cash forecasting, and the review of financial statements filed with the SEC. Courtney has a strong background in complex technical accounting areas and has also spent time in her career at and Ernst & Young, LLP. Courtney received both a B.A. and a Masters in Accounting from the University of Arizona and is a Certified Public Accountant.
