As Vice President of Development for AMLI in Seattle, Matt is involved in the conception and execution of all of AMLI’s new apartment developments in Seattle and has been with the firm since 2012. AMLI is an industry leader in sustainability in the multifamily space which aligns nicely with Matt’s personal objective to leave this planet a better place for following generations.
Matt has been involved in multifamily development since receiving a B.S. in Construction Management from the University of Washington in 2001. Following a stint of work with SRM Development in Seattle and 4 years of condo development in San Diego with DR Horton, Matt and his wife packed a van in 2008 and headed south. Prolific reading and extensive South American adventure then led to Boston and a Master’s in Real Estate Development & Finance from Harvard. In 2011 Matt returned to Seattle with a purpose to develop sustainably and contribute to the urban fabric of our great city.
Matt is a member of both ULI and NAIOP and sits on the Sustainability Committee for both AMLI and NAIOP. He is also a father, musician, and enjoys alpine climbing as well as many other outdoor pursuits that take advantage of what Cascadia has to offer.
