Kurt Kruckeberg is an affiliate instructor at the University of Washington School of Law where he has taught Civil Procedure since 2016. He is also a practicing attorney and principal at the Seattle law firm Hillis Clark Martin & Peterson, where he specializes in real estate transactional law. Kurt has extensive experience with office, multifamily, industrial, and retail projects. His work often involves sophisticated transactions for clients in the education, affordable housing, technology, and healthcare industries.
He obtained his J.D., summa cum laude, from the Seattle University School of Law, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Seattle University Law Review. He also earned his M.M. from the University of Colorado – Boulder, and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Luther College.
