A local to Ballard, Phillip pursued his undergraduate education at Seattle University studying humanities and business finance. His interdisciplinary skills continued to develop in research and teaching roles at the university, contributing to student education. This experience propelled him to work at an innovative real estate technology startup in its early stages, helping in the company’s efforts to be funded by a large venture capital investment. Currently, he has applied his real estate knowledge to the residential community with a development company that is building single-family homes and townhomes in the Seattle area.
Phillip enjoys creative and dynamic work environments with a strong emphasis on connecting with the community. Growing up in Seattle has shown him how the local economy and job market has impacted real estate. He values the MSRE program in how it will deepen and sharpen this interest through the coming years.
Traveling has broadened his understanding of world cultures seeing the inequalities and progress of different societies. Being part of the Greek community gives him an appreciation of family, traditions, and food! On the weekends, you can find Phillip involved in many outdoor activities, such as hiking in the Olympics, skiing in the Cascades, and kayaking in the Puget Sound.
