Aaron Laing

Aaron Laing is Vice President and leads the Real Estate Practice Group for IMA Financial Group’s Bellevue, WA office. IMA is a national, employee-owned commercial insurance and financial services brokerage with roots in the Pacific Northwest dating back nearly 90 years through its merger with Parker, Smith & Feek. Prior to joining IMA in 2022, Aaron was a land use / real estate attorney for 20 years, serving local, regional and national clients.

Aaron has been deeply involved in the PNW commercial real estate community for decades through organizations like ICSC, NAIOP, ULI, Master Builders, Pacific Real Estate Instituted (PREI), the Building Industry of WA (BIAW) Legal Committee and Washington Business Property Association (WBPA). Aaron currently serves as ICSC’s Community Advancement Co-Chair for Washington state and is actively involved in the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce Planning Land Use Sustainability & Housing (PLUSH) committee. Aaron served eight years on the City of Bellevue’s Planning Commission and has served on non-profit boards, including Bellevue United FC and the Bellevue Police Foundation.

Aaron earned a Master of Arts in Sociology and a Juris Doctor from the University of Washington, where he met his wife, Pranika. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Mexico.

Aaron, Pranika and their two children live in Bellevue and enjoy time with their dog Daisy and non-stop youth soccer.
