Cole McArthur is a Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) student at the University of Washington, where he will graduate in spring 2028. He brings experience in mortgage sales and underwriting, along with coursework in CRE asset management and acquisitions that has provided him with a foundational understanding of the industry.
After earning his bachelor’s degree in History from UC Santa Barbara, Cole was displaced for a year by the Palisades Fire. During that time, he explored his interest in CRE and entrepreneurship by reading extensively, completing CRE financial modeling courses, and ultimately deciding to pursue an MSRE at the University of Washington. While at UCSB, he also completed an internship with Bollinger Capital, a Santa Barbara-based CRE development firm.
Within the MSRE program, Cole is focusing on CRE asset management, with particular interest in industrial and multifamily. He is committed to building the knowledge and skills necessary to bring meaningful value to a CRE firm upon graduation. He will also serve as a staff assistant for the Runstad Advisory Board, expanding his industry exposure and network.
A strong communicator and dedicated lifelong learner, Cole approaches his professional development with curiosity, discipline, and a genuine desire to continually improve.
