Tim Strasser

Tim is an international exchange student from IRE|BS (International Real Estate Business School) in Germany, currently pursuing the MSRE program as a double degree alongside his German master’s program in Real Estate. He sees the MSRE as an opportunity to deepen his academic foundation in an international setting, build a professional network across the Pacific Northwest, and gain first-hand insight into the U.S. real estate market. What draws him to the program is the chance to step outside familiar structures, engage with different approaches to learning, and understand how industry practice differs between Europe and the United States.

Prior to his graduate studies, Tim completed a bachelor’s degree in business administration at Vienna University of Economics and Business, where he focused on Finance and graduated among the top 10% of his class. During this time, he gained practical experience at BNP Paribas Asset Management, working in real estate fund management. At Art-Invest Real Estate Management, he expanded his skill set in the fields of asset management and project development.

With a solid foundation in both academics and practice, Tim is eager to learn how U.S. real estate markets operate and to connect with fellow experts and industry professionals in Seattle. He looks forward to an inspiring and rewarding year in the MSRE program.
