Jason Han

Hello, my name is Jason Han. I majored in hospitality management, and also have a master’s degree in design management. I would like to express myself as a well rounded person with lots of interests in business and entrepreneurship.

I found the importance of real estate due to my previous experience in opening a hotel project. I was in charge of purchasing and general affairs to support the successful opening of a hotel during the pandemic. It was not easy but we did open the hotel on time, and everything went very smoothly; however, the project was viewed as only a partial success due to the real estate deal that negatively affected the profitability of the property.  From this experience, I found that knowing real estate is very important, and I dreamed about being a developer in the future who has a capacity for overseeing hospitality and commercial industries. My ultimate goal is to develop a “lifestyle plaza” where people can come and enjoy the unique lifestyle by experiencing well branded retail shops and restaurants along with unified building design. It is only a concept at the moment, but I would like to develop the concept more in depth throughout the MSRE program to make my dream more financially sound and achievable in the future.
