The Runstad Center for Real Estate Studiew was established in 2002 and was a key milestone in the development of real estate education and research at the University of Washington that resulted in the establishment of the Runstad Department of Real Estate in 2017. Its mandate today is to provide thought leadership in real estate. This is achieved through a wide variety of means. The Department provides extensive academic and career development support to the students pursuing the Real Estate undergraduate major and minor and the MSRE Program.The Runstad Department of Real Estate also brings together UW faculty, industry leaders and students through events, research projects, and other programs.
