Tim Overland
Tim Overland has broad multifamily real estate experience in asset and capital markets transactions, management at the portfolio, asset, and property levels, development and asset repositioning, consulting, valuation, and investor relations.
Tim is currently the Managing Partner of Overland Real Estate, a multifamily development, investment, and operating company with a long-term focus on high-quality multifamily assets.
Prior to founding Overland Real Estate, Tim served in various capacities at Security Properties, most recently as President of the company. Tim also oversaw the creation and growth of Madrona Ridge Residential, an institutional-quality property management firm with over 12,000 units under management.
Prior to joining Security Properties in 2008, he held investment positions with MacFarlane Partners, as well as consulting roles at Arthur Andersen and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Mr. Overland has been involved in the deployment of over $2.0 billion in equity in multifamily investments. He holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from the University of Puget Sound and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley. Mr. Overland is a member of Young Presidents’ Organization, is a member of the Affordable and Workforce Housing Council of the Urban Land Institute and serves on the Board of Directors for Bellwether Housing and Washington Wild.
