Ms. Lorig joined BRIDGE Housing as Senior Vice President of Development in April 2016. She oversees the company’s real estate development activities in the Greater Seattle Area, where BRIDGE has two large-scale developments on the horizon: the Northgate Equitable Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) and the Spring District/120th Street Station TOD.
A leading nonprofit developer and owner of affordable housing, BRIDGE creates and manages a range of high-quality, affordable homes for families and seniors on the West Coast. Since it was founded in 1983, BRIDGE has participated in the development of more than 18,000 homes, including award-winning transit-oriented, mixed-use and mixed-income developments.
Ms. Lorig previously was President and co-owner of Lorig Associates, a Seattle-based real estate development company, and Lorig Management Services, a property and asset management company specializing in urban infill and mixed-use projects. She was responsible for corporate oversight of all development and management projects totaling over $500 million in project costs from predevelopment to stabilization. Ms. Lorig delivered more than 650 units of affordable housing for local nonprofits.
Ms. Lorig holds a B.S. and M.E. in Civil Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Certificate of Real Estate from the University of Washington. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute Northwest Affordable and Workforce Housing Product Council and co-chairs the Housing Development Consortium’s Transit Oriented Development Taskforce.
