Ana Costa teaches R E 497/587 Real Estate Data Modelling.

Dr. Ana Costa is an Associate at BERK Consulting where she conducts qualitative and quantitative analyses using a combination of spatial and tabular data to support local jurisdictions and state agencies in Washington, including work on comprehensive plans, climate risk and vulnerability assessments, and housing planning strategies.

Dr. Costa earned a Ph.D. in Urban Design and Planning at the University of Washington in 2025, having produced a dissertation titled “Rent and the Dynamics of Housing Tenure, Search, and Policy: A Local Perspective from Brazilian Cities” and completed the Graduate Certificate in Housing Studies. She previously earned a Master of Public Administration from Boise State University and a Bachelor of Architecture and Urbanism from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais.
