Andy Schock

Andy teaches R E 409/509 Financial Modelling for Real Estate II.

Andy is a Pacific Northwest native having spent time living in Oregon, Idaho, and Central Washington before moving to Seattle to study at the University of Washington for his undergraduate degree in economics. Professionally, he began his career in private finance market data provision working for a local startup in downtown Seattle with a specialization in client account management. More recently, his professional career pivoted into commercial real estate with responsibilities ranging from parcel indexing & outreach campaigning to financial analysis & capital markets relations for developers and investors across Texas-west markets. Andy then completed his MSRE in the Runstad Department of Real Estate.

Following the MSRE, Andy joined Tarragon as a Development Analyst focused on multifamily projects. He then transitioned to Devco Residential Group as Development Associate and then Capital Markets Manager, managing internal workflows and external relationships related to the company’s Low Income Housing Tax Credit financing. He is now working as Capital Markets Manager for Bellwether Housing, a leading developer and operator of affordable housing units.
