Burke began his Husky experience at age 14 making skateboards at the University’s wood shop that is now part of the School of Art, Art History and Design. Returning in later years for additional degrees in Writing and a Masters in Business from the Foster School, Burke’s experience has been varied, interesting and fruitful.
Burke is currently an appraiser with King County with focus on high value multi-family projects and accompanying appeal work both at the County and State level. Burke holds the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute and has acted as an expert witness representing local government and private interests.
In his time away from valuation, Burke enjoys shared moments with his wife and three (almost) grown children. Coaching golf in the fall, skiing and snowshoeing in the winter and playing senior amateur golf in the summer make life almost full. Working with students at the University is truly a value-add for him at this time in his life. Go Dawgs!
