Dan Whitaker

Dan Whitaker is President & CEO of the CD Stimson Company, a 140-year-old real estate investment company.  In this role Dan is responsible for setting and executing the company’s long-term strategy with a view towards preserving asset values and optimizing/enhancing investor returns.

His 40+ year career in real estate has spanned all facets of commercial real estate, including finance, acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, asset management, and real estate development.

Prior to CD Stimson Company, Dan provided real estate and finance consulting for over 10-years.  Before this he worked for distinguished firms such as Panattoni Development, Quadrant Homes (formerly Quadrant Corporation), Symetra Life Insurance Company (formerly Safeco Life), National Mortgage Co., and Security Properties.  He is active Pacific Real Estate Institute and Financial Executives International where he is past-President of the Washington State Chapter.

Dan received his BA in Economics/Accounting from Western Washington University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Washington.
