Elgun Tarverdiyev

Elgun Tarverdiyev is currently enrolled in the University of Washington’s Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) program and is one of the first Azerbaijanis to join the program. He completed his undergraduate studies with a dual Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Azerbaijan State University of Economics and International Business and Management from the University of Montpellier, France. Elgun’s career began with an internship at the Chamber of Accounts of Azerbaijan, where he gained hands-on experience in auditing and financial analysis. Later, he joined the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy, where he contributed to tax compliance reviews and risk assessments. His growing interest in real estate finance, development, and investment led him to pursue the MSRE program, where he is focused on building expertise in real estate finance, development strategies, and construction management. Elgun is also an active member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI), where he engages with professionals and industry leaders to further his knowledge and impact in the real estate sector. In his free time, Elgun is an avid skier and enjoys exploring the diverse landscapes around Seattle through hiking and outdoor activities. He is also an enthusiast of global markets and frequently follows trends in the real estate and finance sectors.
