After over 15 years in residential lending and sales, Jackie Burkett is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Real Estate at the University of Washington with the hopes of broadening her career options to span commercial real estate. In the MSRE program, Jackie is also hoping to learn more about real estate development for her own personal development ventures.
Jackie’s most recent position as a mortgage loan officer at KeyBank has led to the funding of $150 million and 250 loans, earning her numerous accolades such as Ultra-High Performer, Top Mortgage Loan Officer in Washington State, and more. She specializes in developing tailored mortgage solutions for physicians and dentists and has more recently pivoted to focus on community lending in underserved areas. Previously, as a real estate broker at Keller Williams Eastside, Jackie was awarded Rookie of the Year in her first year and proceeded to garner success in the field.
As a mother to two delightful children, Jackie mastered juggling multiple opposing priorities. Jackie and her children enjoy skiing, hiking, and lifting weights together and vacationing at National Parks.
Outside of her professional and family life, Jackie is an avid rock climber and mountaineer. She is actively involved in the Pacific Northwest outdoor community, serving as an instructor for the One Step at a Time Mountaineering Club and an administrator for PNW Women’s Technical Climbing Group. Some of her summits include Mount Rainier, Forbidden Peak, Grand Teton, and Pico de Orizaba and rock-climbing destinations include Yosemite, Potrero Chico, Red Rock Canyon.
