Krista Yamamoto-Chin recently graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate and a minor in Informatics, and she entered the MSRE program immediately afterward with plans to study development. Originally from Hawaii, she brings a strong interest in coding, data analysis, and technology-driven solutions to her work in real estate.
In addition to five years of customer service experience, Krista has exposure to commercial office brokerage, lease transactions, and property management, which has given her insight into the operational and transactional side of the industry. These experiences continue to shape her approach to teamwork, communication, and problem-solving that she plans to bring to the MSRE program and Runstad network.
Krista is especially interested in commercial redevelopment in Hawaii, with a focus on creating a more vibrant, livable, and culturally rich downtown. Through the MSRE program, she aims to deepen her knowledge of real estate development and investment while integrating data, technology, and community-focused insight. She looks forward to building a professional career grounded in impact and innovation and is proud to be a double Runstad Husky!
