Lars Baur
Lars is an international exchange student from IRE|BS (International Real Estate Business School) in Regensburg, Germany pursuing the MSRE program as a double degree in conjunction with his local master’s program. Lars is a curious individual, convinced that the MSRE program will provide the perfect environment to broaden his academic journey on an international scale, grow a strong international network and get unique insights into the US Real Estate Sector.
Prior to his graduate studies, Lars earned his degree in the field of civil engineering with business studies at University of Applied Sciences Mainz, Germany. To further complement his academic journey, Lars worked as a student assistant in different fields ranging from statistics over building information modeling to Real Estate Valuation. During his undergraduate studies, Lars served as Co-founder and chairman of a student university group within the Association of German Industrial Engineers, enhancing his leadership and organizational skills, and reinforcing his desire to contribute meaningfully to the Real Estate sector.
In addition to his academic commitments, Lars has been working in the Real Estate industry since 2021, performing Real Estate appraisals and in-depth analysis for commercial Real Estate at imtargis, a local Real Estate advisory and appraisal company.
