Naoko Umeda

Born and raised in Japan, Naoko graduated from Keio University in Tokyo with a Bachelor’s degree in Law. She has ten years of experience at Takenaka Corporation, one of Japan’s largest general contractors, where she developed expertise in accounting for construction and real estate industries. During her role in the Real Estate Division, Naoko became aware of real estate development and asset management, and ultimately decided to pursue a career in it.

Naoko’s started her real estate career in 2022, engaging in negotiation of a joint venture agreement for industrial investments. More recently, Naoko interned with the Urban Renaissance Group in Seattle, where she created financial models for potential investment properties and conducted market research for the Seattle, Portland, and Denver office markets. She has also passed real estate broker exams in both Japan and Washington State. Naoko aims to develop a solid foundation of real estate knowledge through the program and build her career in real estate development and asset management.

In her free time, Naoko loves to spend time outdoors with her friends and family and has a lifelong love of tennis. She also enjoys baseball, bouldering and hiking.
