Shannon Affholter

Shannon Affholter is the Director of Undergraduate Programs and an Assistant Teaching Professor at the Runstad Department of Real Estate.

Shannon was the Chief Operating Officer at Oakpointe Communities, providing operational leadership for one of the largest real estate developers in the Puget Sound. Before Oakpointe, Shannon was the executive director at the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties, the largest local homebuilder association in the nation, where he oversaw the Association in its entirety.

Shannon holds a Master of Business Administration from Western Washington University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Pacific Lutheran University. At the University of Washington, Shannon teaches classes in real estate development, negotiations, and leadership. Shannon is a member of the Urban Land Institute Northwest.
