Steve Franceschina

Steve Franceschina is the retired President and CEO of Metzler Real Estate, where he played a pivotal role in developing and executing North American real estate investment strategies for institutional and private clients.

During his twenty-year tenure at Metzler, Steve participated in transactions totaling more than $7.5 billion across commercial office buildings, multi-family residential properties, industrial assets, and hotels, primarily serving the firm’s largest international client. His career spans over three decades, including leadership positions at Martin Smith Inc, Schnitzer Northwest, and Sabey Corporation.

Over the course of his career, Steve has asset managed more than 30 million square feet of commercial real estate, consistently adding value by building collaborative teams, recognizing market opportunities, repositioning assets, and driving aggressive leasing initiatives.

Although retired from Metzler, Steve continues to serve as a member of the Runstad Real Estate Advisory Board.
