Tuition
UW graduate degree-seeking students will not pay additional tuition for the certificate, as long as courses are included within the student’s normal program of study and fall within the 18 credit limit per quarter.

- Eligibility
- Students currently enrolled in graduate programs at the University of Washington
- Application instructions
- Applications are accepted twice a year with deadlines of December 15th and May 15th
- A letter of interest (400 words describing the student’s background, experiences and motivation for applying
- Current resume
- Current UW transcript (unofficial is acceptable; minimum 3.0 GPA)

- General logistics
- Students are required to apply to GCHS and be admitted before taking more than one course that is part of the certificate if they would like to receive the certificate
- No course substitutions are allowed based on previous professional or other experience
- Applications will be accepted twice a year (Autumn – May 15th & Winter – Dec 15th)
