We are happy to announce that Professor Sofia Dermisi has been elected Vice Program Chair of the American Real Estate Society (ARES). She will shadow the program chair of the annual conference in 2017 and organize the annual conference in 2018. In the spring of 2018 she will transition to the role of Vice President and President of ARES, becoming the second woman president in the history of the organization.
The American Real Estate Society was founded in 1985 and is an association of real estate thought leaders from both academia and industry. The Society is dedicated to producing and disseminating knowledge related to real estate decision making and the functioning of real estate markets.
