Chris Killian

Chris Killian is the Vice President & General Manager of Turner Construction in the NW overseeing both the Washington and Oregon offices. Turner Construction is an American construction company with presence in 20 countries, and is the largest domestic contractor in the United States. Chris’s project roster of high-end residential, healthcare, sporting venues, commercial high rise office buildings and aquariums, have helped shaped the Pacific Northwest skyline. During his 20 year Turner career, Chris has led the charge in being a more responsible builder through innovation and sustainable building practices. And, most notably taking a stance in changing the culture of construction by creating the right environment in the workplace, and on the job sites. He has done so by incorporating Turner’s core values of Teamwork, Integrity and Commitment focusing efforts on culture over results, and strategy. These values instill lasting relationships with clients, colleagues, tradespeople, friends and, of course, family. Chris and his wife enjoy escaping to the mountains whenever possible, taking their two children and yellow lab on many adventures. Chris earned his BA from Bentley University, and his Master’s degree in Construction Management from the University of Washington.
