Torben Riepenhausen

Torben is enrolled in the University of Washington’s Dual Degree Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) program, which is run in conjunction with the University of Regensburg’s IRE|BS program. He completed his graduate studies in Germany for one year. Torben graduated from the Bauhaus University in Weimar with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Even while pursuing his bachelor’s degree, Torben acquired a wide range of working experience.

He began his career in the energy sector as an intern in project management for a sizable infrastructure project at the Swedish engineering firm Sweco.

Afterwards he worked in Real Estate Consulting for BRANDBERGER in Munich. There he was primarily involved in the preparation of technical due diligence reports for national and international investors for real estate of all types of use throughout Germany. He also gained further experience in project management and was involved in development and redevelopment projects, primarily for office properties.

Torben spends his free time doing sports. He has been an avid soccer player since childhood. In winter, he loves skiing in the mountains. In quieter moments, Torben likes to read or follow the development of the stock markets.
