Sterling Wagner

Sterling grew up outside Minneapolis but moved to the Pacific Northwest to attend Gonzaga University and study Civil Engineering. He graduated with his B.S. in Civil Engineering in 2020 and then went on to work for Turner Construction as a project engineer on the Seattle Aquarium Ocean Pavilion project on downtown Seattle’s waterfront. This immensely complicated project exposed him to managing numerous subcontractors under strict budgetary and schedule constraints. Being the first engineer on the team and staying with the project from the ground to near completion, he honed his construction management skills.

As Sterling’s passion for the built environment grew, he became aware of real estate development and ultimately decided this is what he wanted to pursue a career in. Combining his natural analytical skills, attention to detail, and construction knowledge with real estate finance and other core concepts from the UW MSRE program, he will be an asset to any developer. Sterling is a knowledge sponge with a strong drive to continue growing his skills to become successful in the industry.

In his free time, Sterling loves to spend time outdoors with his friends and has a lifelong love of skiing. He is also a dedicated fan of Minnesota sports, Gonzaga Basketball and is now a budding fan of the Huskies Football team.
