  •  Personal History Statement (500 words or less)
    • This is not an academic statement of purpose, but a personal statement that addresses your intellectual growth and development, both inclusive of and beyond your academic goals. We ask for this statement due to our goal of enhancing the intellectual and social enrichment of the University of Washington community, which actively seeks and welcomes students from diverse backgrounds. The statement should detail:

We consider all applications on an individual basis and a high GMAT or GRE score doesn’t guarantee admission. Nor does a low score necessarily preclude admission. You can apply before you take either test. Please have the scores sent directly to the University of Washington.
  • Language
    • If English is not your first language you will require evidence of a minimum level of English. This can be provided through a well-balanced score in the TOEFL test. Please contact us for more information.
